Tiny Crooked Moon Household

Welcome to this household. We did not feel like calling it the DND (Dungeons&Dragons) Household, because while classes are mentioned it is not really a DND household. The main base for this household is The Crooked Moon book. Let's move on, shall we?

DruskenvaldBack

Druskenvald (DRUSK-in-vahld) is described in The Crooked Moon as a demi-plane where those among the living, dead, and undead can all exist together. The sun never shines here; it is always night basically. In this realm, there are thirteen major provinces and the minor province, Wickermoor Hallow (will be discussed on its own page). The major provinces are Ardengloom, Astramar, Bubonia, Chernabos, Edwardia, Enoch, Kalero, Nerukhet, Olmarsh, Pholsense, Picco, Syndramas, and Zulrogg. Something you need to know for the major provinces; you are likely not allowed to enter them unless a tiny of this household says you can. Thay being said Nerukhet and Bubonia are off limits. Pronunciations for the names of the major provinces and semi-short descriptions of them are listed below.Ardengloom- AR-din-gloom (Ancient Primordial Forest that is a fraction of its former glory, somewhere past the gnarled trees are settlements of the gnarlborn and some other species)Astramar- ASS-truh-mar (Lots of starlight here, shining upon mountains and hills, the caverns excluded from getting this starlight, a place for those who want to study the arcane)Bubonia- boo-BOH-nee-ah (Shrouded in a toxic haze that the witches were not able to get rid of, rival guilds work and scheme for their individual goals)Chernabos- CHURR-nuh-bos (Extreme heat, drought, violent eruptions and earthquakes, also those living here are greedy)Edwardia- ed-WAR-dee-uh (Mostly Grayscale in color, probably the most technology advanced province, frequent storms, the society is obsessed with dualities, or things that are on the opposite end of any spectrum, such as life, death, good, evil, law, anarchy, etc.)Enoch- EE-nock (Countryside, miles of farmland, primary breadbasket for all in Druskenvald, crops of all kinds are produced, selling crops to all at markets)Kalero- kuh-Lair-oh (Deep canyons, walls carved out for settlements, roads, individual tombs of the relicborn emerging, life and death are celebrated in equal exuberance, bustling markets, colorful rememberance celebrations)Nerukhet- NAIR-oo-KET (Down below in deep caverns is this province, gemstone geodes providing kaleidoscopic light among the cities, webbed tunnels, all here striving for greatness in aspects of life, wanting to establish their place in history)Olmarsh- OAL-marsh (Stretching along rocky shorelines and flooded salt marshes, relying on what the sea has to provide them, shadow hanging over the whole province, resources scarce aside from fish, there is the constant feeling of being watched by something in the night sky)Pholsense- FOAL-senss (Quiet towns dotting hills, farmland, humble woodlands, cites, mostly peaceful life, inhabitants have the fear of straying from the Silver Path or making the wrong move)Picco- PEE-koh (Land of high energy and constant motion, fun is the law, using Fun Tickets for currency, ever-present tune of a discordant calliope, the people live in frantic frivolity, appearance that of a school play with the landscapes of cloth, decorations and props)Syndramas- sin-DRAH-mus (Icy and snowbound land with constant battle between the three factions that will never consider peace, hallow remnant of a past kingdom that once was united between humanity and dragonkind, immense necrotic power, no one knows why battle started in the first place now)Zulrogg- ZULL-rawg (Tropical swamps, underneath dense canopy of trees cloaked with twisting vines, the cycles of life, death and rebirth in harmony, same goes for the plants, animals and people of the province, this province provides those in it with everything needed for survival despite its dangers, Clair Cocoro goes here quite often for wicker)

Ghostlight ExpressBack

This is how those going on their final journey to the life after death. The Ghostlight Express is more than just a vessel, it is actually a living entity offering passage for the souls. We managed to make a miniature version of this train in order for tinies to travel to Druskenvald. I mean we probably could have found a way for them to go onto the Ghostlight Express but wanted them to have seats their size. The Mini Ghostlight Express as Mini Vagrant as the caretaker for it like The Vagrant is the caretaker for the Ghostlight Express. The appearance is a black steam engine. The trains ride upon rails that are made of mist, can materialize anywhere it is needed, always during the night, and tends to be near graveyards or standing stones, but as it can materialize anywhere, you could see the Mini Ghostlight Express pull up in front of you. When the train is coming you first will see mist surrounding you and hear the chugging of the engine as it approaches. The Mini Vagrant will appear from an entrance and greet you asking for a ticket, which will magically appear on your person as you have been invited by a tiny in the household to see Druskenvald. Then as you get onto the train, the Mini Vagrant will lead you to the passager cart you will be on during your journey to the realm. You may or may not see Midnight Vigil on the train or Amagami Loa walking in the mist (if the train is not going too fast) that surrounds both trains. The passenger car has 14 rows of seats, two seats per sides, and four private booths at each end of the car. The Mini Ghostlight Express has six passenger cars. The Ghostlight Express has the sleeper car, the lounge car, the dining car, the mail car, the baggage car, and the circus car as well. Mini Ghostlight Express has these as well, but more than one sleeper card as well. Each sleeper car having a long, narrow corridor stretching down the length of the car and three sliding doors along the way, for the three private cabins in the sleeper cars. Each cabin having two beds and a nightstand between the beds. Lounge car has ebony walls with inlaid gold geometric patterns, a bar and four small tables with two plush, velvet chairs at each table. Soft light filtering throughout. Dining car has six small booths that can seat four people, and there is the one larger half-booth with a bench for six, and two other chairs to sit two more, in total this whole booth sits eight people. It is usually left empty for Mini Vagrant and Midnight Vigil to sit at. Mail car is self-explanatory, filled with two rows of shelves with heavy mail satchels and bins of parcels and envelopes. The circus car is well, having a few rusty cages, some painted red and white wooden crates, faded and tattered banners advertising carnivals. Banners depicting images of unsettling clowns and animals so uhhh yeah. Oh and there is the Tender which has a large, blackened fuel tank in the center, having a blue-green glow within that can be seen in a small, reinforced glass window. Covered in hot and wavering light, iron pipes twisting overhead, coming from the tank to the furnace at the far end of the car.

Wickermoor HallowBack

This is mentioned as a province that is unrecognized by the Crescent Court, which is why it is a minor province. Wickermoor Hallow is actually the most important location in The Crooked Moon adventure because it is the main setting of the adventure. This is where you will find any of the tinies in this household except for Mini Vagrant most of the time since they live here. There are many locations you could also find a few of the tinies at. Such as Wickermoor Village, The Crooked House, Foxwillow with the Fields of the Crow, the Crimson Monastery, the Drowned Crossroads, Memory's Rest on the Isle of Mourn, Hartsblight Forest, Maidenmist Cemetery.Wickermoor Village: The oldest settlement in the province, many inhabitants find comfort in the Old Ways, quite a simple and rustic place, but many services and comfort are offered in the small towns, life is relatively prosperous despite being isolated from the rest of Druskenvald, inhabitants are welcoming to outsiders, hence why all the tinies aside from Mini Vagrant are living here, this village is anything but uneventful though, the dangers still lurk around the villageThe Crooked House: No one is allowed to enter the house, it sits on a gloomy hill and choked with gnarled overgrowth, decades of disrepair. Twisted house, only knowing evil. The house is only here to look at it from the outside, from a distance. I mean the witches have power but there are somethings we have not been able to make disappear from this realm. Thankfully, the Fallen did not come with the realm when finding a way to get the tinies to enter into Druskenvald.Fields of The Crow: In the quiet town of Foxwillow, there are the Fields of The Crow. Long long ago, the Harvest Terror was the reason for the townsfolk disappearing in these cornfields. Now the fields just have many crows inside and it is just used for gathering corn. One of the crows could even be me since I watch Foxwillow and these fields in my crow form. - Amanai Shion, Watcher of FoxwillowThe Crimson Monastery: The Crimson Monastery was once led by the Crimson Abbot. It has now been abandoned with the Crimson Abbot no longer around, thankfully. This monastery is high above Wickermoor Hallow in a mountain range known as the Howlers. There is a good reason many aspects we mention of Druskenvald that do not exist for us today, it would be significantly more dangerous if it did. Detail about that for the Crimson Monastery will be included in the description of the Crimson Abbot. Syaraku Cult uses this abandoned location to have a quiet space. I also will be at this location sometimes. - Sir Maki ManaseThe Drowned Crossroads: The stilt-town of Murkwater Bend may have prosperity and riches, but Mister Crossroads caused such misfortune in the past for the people of the town. Be glad you can't meet this man, who would make deals that come with sinister costs. During the Midnight Hour in the Drowned Crossroads, you can hear brass music throughout and see distant lights of a riverboat called the Dead Man's Hand. It was powered by the Grinning Sinner's power, but we managed to make it that it is no longer required and that everyone could find it. It still appears at random locations each night. The Dead Man's Hand is a riverboat casino by the way. The only gambling that occurs here are those of the inhabitants that have always been here, there are few tinies that watch but do not participate. - Tsuyoi Nasuzu, Mistress CrossroadsMemory's Rest: This is a sanatorium that is a monument to grief, it risen from the Moonsong Lake, this "sanctuary" was founded by Matron Lethica, the Weeping Widow herself, transforming the Isle of Mourn. For her, she made it to be a place of healing for those wanting relief from troubles. It was anything but. It is great she is no longer here. I do come to this abandoned sanatorium sometimes. - Lady May MellowHartsblight Forest: A long time ago way before any of us got here, this forest used to be vibrant with life but now because of Gorthos, the Beast of Blight, the forest is filled with rot, decay of the flora, I would not recommend coming here, as the fungal infection is meant to bring decay to living things. Maybe having powers that rely on spores has me safe, or maybe tinies are fine here. I would prefer for you not to enter the forest though. The forest was originally known as the Greenwood before for becoming what it is now. - Alice Sinoah, Guardian of the HartsblightMaidenmist Cemetery: Pretty self-explanatory, I believe. It's a cemetery as death occurs in Druskenvald. Before I came here, Isolde watching the Shroud after Yorgrim was gone, making sure the tear would not reopen. Now I am here as The Mini Gravedigger since I am partially having the role the Chained Reaper had before ended up as the Chained Reaper, the Maidenmist Cemetery is very much way bigger than me and so is Isolde, it's better not to question how it works out. The Shroud is no longer a problem, balefire beacons of the Fallen and the tear being sealed prevents that. The tear shouldn't reopen but it's my and Isolde's problem if it does. I am here to preform burial rites. - Amagami Loa, The Mini Gravedigger
